Surrounded by vast blue skies and expansive panoramic views of the White Mountains, South Mountain Resort invites you to enjoy everything the northeast countryside has to offer. In the summer you can golf, go canoeing/kayaking, enjoy thrills at a theme park or hit the area hiking and bike trails. Come winter, you can tame the slopes at one of three separate ski mountains.

Spend some time shaping up in the fitness room then treat yourself to the relaxing heat of the sauna/steam room. Fire up the BBQ grill and surprise your family with a picnic. Enjoy all the amenities South Mountain Resort has to offer including an indoor pool, hot tubs, massage therapy and a game room.

For a car ride like no other, journey along the incredible Kancamagus Scenic Byway. This picturesque drive takes you through spectacular forests, vintage logging roads and across authentic-Indian hunting trails. Take the road to Franconia Notch State Park for the incredible Flume Gorge—at 800 feet long and 90 feet tall it’s not to be missed. If you don’t mind driving a little farther, Boston is just two hours away.

Prefer to stay on site? You can take advantage of incredible shopping opportunities at Village Shops and exceptional Italian dining at Fratello’s. Both are connected to South Mountain Resort by an interior hallway.
